Senior Parents – if you haven’t sent in your $35 donation, please do as soon as possible! These donations help purchase gifts for your senior. We ask all families/guardians of WG Seniors to donate $35 per student, but donations in any amount are greatly appreciated!

The Senior Show is in jeopardy! If we don’t get someone to organize it, it may have to be cancelled. If you are someone who would enjoy “putting on a show” send us an email!
Volunteers are also needed for ALL aspects of After Prom. Look over our Committees page, there are so many options! You don’t have to be in charge, just help out.

The West Geauga After Prom committee is pleased to announce our second year of the
Prom Fashion Show & Beyond Extravaganza at West Geauga High School on Sunday, January 31, 2016! 3:00pm – 5:30pm, doors open at 2:00.
It will showcase prom attire as well as vendors that provide prom or graduation related services or products.
The event will includes a fashion show, vendor area, basket raffles, and other raffles throughout the event.
Advance tickets will be sold the week of January 25th during lunch at West Geauga High School: $5.00 for Students/Seniors $7.00 for all others. Day of Show at the door: $8.00

On Monday, January 11th at 7pm at the WG High School library we will be having an “all hands on deck” meeting with a focus on decorating and fundraising! If you have not yet been able to lend your talents or attend a meeting, we invite you to join us on the 11th.
After Prom will be selling raffle tickets at the Fashion Show and at other school events. Follow us on Twitter and/or Facebook to keep informed of when and where, or contact Chris Czikray for more information.

With the holidays upon us, we will not be having a meeting until Monday, January 11, 2016, but we’d like to update you on how things are going!
Parent donation letters have been sent out and we hope that all Senior families will donate and help out!
We are also always looking for donations from businesses, monetary donations, gift certificates, in-kind donations, tickets to sporting events/concerts or any merchandise that will make this event memorable. For more information: WGAP Business Donations
After Prom needs a location where we can build our sets and decorations. If you know of anyone who can donate a barn, garage, storage facility, unused portion of a business, etc. that we can use from January to May, please contact us at email@example.com
We have a date for our Prom & Beyond Fashion Show Extravaganza! It will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at West Geauga High School. This is an opportunity to see beautiful prom gowns and check out prom-related vendors. And also to see your Senior kids strut their stuff on the runway!

Senior Parents, we need you, ALL of you! “Many hands make light work” has never been so true. You don’t have to chair a committee, just volunteer to help any of them in any way. Check out the “Committees” link to the left to see what you can help with. If you have any questions, just email the chairperson or firstname.lastname@example.org
Another important item is to follow After Prom on social media. If you are on Facebook or Twitter, LIKE our Facebook page and FOLLOW us on Twitter. And SHARE us with all of your Senior (and Junior) class parents. It’s a great way to get the word out. We’re all on our phones/tablets/computers on social media, why not make it work for us?
We still need leaders for the following:
Fundraising – share a good idea or even better, head up or help with a fundraiser!
Business Donations – we have a great community of business owners. Consider calling or sending out mailers for donations.
Entertainment – coordinate the activities for the evening to include the rental of games, inflatable, DJ, Etc. We have no one for this and this is HUGE!
Casino – plan, budget, staff and set up casino games. Again, we have no one for this.
Our next meeting will be to brainstorm decorating ideas for this year’s theme! Join us on Tuesday, October 20th at 7pm in the WGHS library.
We will also be finalizing the budget for the year and hopefully filling those final committee chairs that are currently empty.
Bring a friend and lots of ideas! (Don’t know what the theme is? You’ll have to come to find out!)
We try to keep the theme a surprise for our Seniors so come to our next meeting on Tuesday, October 20th, 7:00pm in the HS Library to start working on ideas to make this After Prom the best one yet!

Our senior parents have narrowed it down to 2 awesome ideas for the 2016 After Prom and now we need to vote for just one. Come to the meeting on Monday, October 5th at 7:00pm in the WG High School Library and vote for your favorite.
We still need chairs for committees too. If you can’t chair a committee, come to the meeting and see how you can help, the more parents that volunteer, the easier everything will be.
