As the calendar days tick down until After Prom, the volunteer lists still need filled. We are looking for energetic parents to set up, help host the night of After Prom, and clean up. There are still slots available for all areas and we would love to have you join us!
We begin setting up for After Prom on Wednesday, May 13th at 8:00 a.m. We need strong men to help move props, as well as trucks to transport materials. At 4:00 p.m on Wendesday we need more trucks and more guys to transport our packed decorating site and materials from our storage barn to the high school. We will begin setting up Wednesday evening as time and energy allows. We need handy dads and energetic parents to assist all day and evening on Thursday, as well as Friday until 4:00.
After Prom begins at midnight on Friday, May 15th rolling into Saturday, May 16th. We need volunteers to assist with various parts of the evening, including the casino area, midway and minute to win it games, as well as chaperoning various areas of the event.
Traditionally, the junior class parents help to clean up after the event, so that they know what to store, and what they have available for their own class’s After Prom. Unfortunately, we only have a few junior parents to assist this year, which means the tired and wear senior parents need to roll out of bed after a few winks to spend the day cleaning up after the event. We welcome any junior or senior parents, students or senior parents to assist with clean up.
